Visa Cash App VCARB-02
The Visa Cash App RB F1 Team VCARB02 is the latest contender from the Faenza-based squad, designed to tackle the 2025 Formula 1 World Championship. As the team continues its journey under the “Racing Bulls” moniker, the VCARB02 builds upon the knowledge and development gained from its predecessor, the VCARB01. This car represents a crucial step for the team as they aim to solidify their position in the competitive midfield, leveraging their close technical partnership with Red Bull Technology.

Transmission: 8-Speed Hydraulic
The power from the Honda RBPT unit is transferred to the wheels via a Red Bull Technologies carbon composite main case gearbox. This longitudinally mounted, 8-speed hydraulic system includes a reverse gear and features a hydraulically actuated multi-plate differential and clutch for seamless power delivery and optimized performance.
Power Unit: Honda RBPTH003
At the heart of the VCARB02 lies the Honda RBPTH003 power unit. This turbocharged 1.6-liter V6 hybrid engine, supplied by Red Bull Powertrains (with Honda’s continued technical support), is a complex marvel. It integrates the internal combustion engine, Motor Generator Unit-Heat (MGU-H), Motor Generator Unit-Kinetic (MGU-K), turbocharger, energy store, control electronics, and exhaust system. This marks the final year for the Racing Bulls team utilizing Honda RBPT-badged engines before their transition to Red Bull Powertrains Ford units from 2026.
Chassis: Carbon Composite Monocoque
The structural backbone of the VCARB02 is a carbon composite monocoque chassis, developed in-house by the Visa Cash App RB Formula One Team. This design prioritizes both immense strength for safety and rigidity, crucial for aerodynamic performance, while maintaining the lowest possible weight to meet FIA regulations.
